Assess Systems White Paper Wins APEX Award
By Doug Caverly
White paper professionals who could use an example - or are at least interested to see how other industry experts work - might want to check out a white paper distributed by Assess Systems. The white paper was given an APEX Award for Publication Excellence in the Special Purpose Writing category.

To be fair: lots and lots of APEX Awards of Excellence were given out. 1,132 in 127 categories, to be exact. And even APEX Grand Awards weren't that rare, with 100 being distributed in 11 categories.

Still, a good white paper is a good white paper, and the Assess Systems paper titled "Optimizing the Sales Gene: Selecting and Developing Top-Performing Salespeople" was identified as such.

JoAnn McMillan, the CEO of Assess Systems, stated as a result, "Our organizational psychologists have decades of experience studying the sales personality. We worked hard to infuse the white paper with that depth of knowledge, to clearly communicate the importance of assessing for innate capability. We are gratified by this acknowledgement from communication professionals."

The white paper's now available for free here if you'd care to look it over.

Who knows? Learn enough from it, and you might even be able to snag an impressive-sounding APEX Award for your own organization next year.

While many people think of white papers as a way of keeping in touch with an established audience, it's important to remember that they can help organizations make new contacts, too.
